"Our neighbors brought us groceries yesterday because we had no way to get out and buy more food." -- Pamela Grady
"Our street in Woodstock is small and hilly. A neighbor from around the corner came by on Tuesday and plowed the street so we could get out. We did not know who he was. On Thursday he came back and cleared several driveways. We offered him money. He graciously declined to take payment. Angels come in all sizes and disguises don't they?" -- Kathie Lumberg

"Beth Barton from Statham made lots of chili and had the fire department come pick it up. Big kudos for her. Always looking out for everyone!" -- Sara Buice Truitt
"As I left my subdivision, there was an elderly man waiting on the 178 bus to make his doctor's appointment at Grady Hospital. I read that this particular bus was not running so I took him to Grady on my way into work." -- Charles Timothy Ford III
"I bought someone who ran out of gas and had no money a full tank of gas. He said he was living in his car." -- Dannette Walker
"My boss picked me up in his 4x4 for a couple of days until I could finally un-snow my car Wednesday." -- Christopher Milford
"I couldn't get to my horses the first two days to feed them, so our friends took their 4 wheeler and their Polaris over and fed them. The third day, our neighbor came and got me in his 4 wheel drive and drove me over and back. He got stuck in the driveway so 2 more neighbors came and pushed him out. I couldn't have done it without everyone's help!" -- Amanda Dodd
"I was leaving my house on Wednesday after 3 days. Just down the street a man and his lil boy flagged me down. They had run out of gas literally a few houses away.. So I ran them up to the gas station for them to call for help and to get gas." -- Chuck Hagel
"My next door neighbor saw me struggling to get from my car to the house after getting stuck in the driveway. He got a shovel and cleared a path to my door. Thanks!" -- Vicki Lynne Watts
"?1st day we could get to the store, we noticed our neighbor couldn't get up their drive. We brought them baby formula (they were almost out) and kitty litter (to get traction to get out of the drive)." -- Lori Choman

"When the storm first hit and the roads began to fill with snow, cars couldn't get past the round-about on North Decatur Rd., which is where I reside. So my neighbors and I put down our sleds and snowball and helped push 4 cars and SUVs from the round-about to Briacliff Road!!! We felt so good afterwards!!!" -- Laprecious Brock
"I was stuck at my mom's for 3 days. I needed to get home. I was worried about my cats not having anymore food or water in their bowls. When leaving my mom's neighborhood, I couldnt make it up the hill. A very nice man laughed at me as I kept trying. He got in his truck and pushed my little car up the hill and I made it home." -- Lisa Lewis
"My son was trying to get to his job at Yoforia yesterday and slid to the side of the road on Old Alabama Rd in Roswell. A person in a pick up truck helped him out of the ice and he got to work on time." -- Dorie Griggs
"My family was fortunate enough to have everything we needed and vehicles that could get out of the neighborhood. My husband and daughter shoveled ice out of driveways, a handful of neighbors helped shovel the hill exiting the neighborhood, and my husband helped people get their vehicles to the top of the hill for parking so everyone could get out if necessary. We felt so good being able to help and know that with such kind neighbors, if there was ever anything we needed they wouldn't hesitate to turn a good deed our way." -- Kelly Clause Barrett
