ATLANTA -- Philip Solages has won $682K from the Georgia Lottery in its November 19 Fantasy 5 drawing.

The winner claimed his prize on Wednesday night, after purchasing his ticket from a Texaco station in Powder Springs. He played numbers 1-5-14-29-36.

According to Solages, he bought the ticket on his way home from work, because he saw the winning amount increase. He checked the Georgia Lottery website to see how his numbers played.

"I stared at it for 30 seconds, checking the date and comparing the numbers," Solages said. "I called my wife into the room and told her, 'I think I have the winning ticket. I won the big one!'"

With his winnings, Solages said he will likely purchase a new car for his wife and pay off their home mortgage. They have two children, ages 9 and 22.
