ATLANTA -- You may not know her face or her name, but she is a powerhouse behind the camera.  Ava Devornay is the woman behind the marketing for popular flicks like "For Colored Girls," "Invictus," "Sharktales," and "Collateral."

Now she is trying her hand at directing, and she's taking on an issue that hits home for thousands of women, breast cancer.

Ava enlisted the help of some of her big name friends to bring her message of empowering women to the big screen. "I Will Follow" stars Blair Underwood, Sally Richardson Whitfield and Omari Hardwick.

Sally Richardson knows the pain of breast cancer personally and encourages women to do breast self-exams regularly.

"I Will Follow" hits the screen at the AMC Phipps Theater in Buckhead on Friday for one week. Devornay and others hope it will be held over for longer.
